What If We All Found A Way to     "Just Say Hello?"

Years of advocating for the homeless, a desire to instill a sense of public service in my daughter, and a lifelong wanderlust and love of traveling got all mixed up together and inspired a crazy idea I now call the Just Say Hello Tour:  Four months on the road, living in a camper van with my 8 year old daughter, volunteering and doing outreach around the country, and telling the stories of those who are homeless and those who are housed and saying hello.  Tour launched July 8th, 2016!  Currently on the road.

Help us get to 10,000 acts of kindness this summer!

At the Facing Homelessness office in Seattle there’s a counter at the door affectionately called the love meter. Everyone who comes by to volunteer, drop of donations, or say hello is encouraged to push the button and add their tally.

Tell us you Just Say Hello story and we’ll add your tally to our own, virtual love meter.

Know Someone We Should Visit?

We are still planning our trip, and we are actively looking for people and organizations we should visit!  Do you know of a person who has found a way to help in their community?  Or an organization trying to meet the needs of the homeless in new, unique ways?  We would love to hear about it!
